Join us for a joyful evening as we celebrate a major milestone, serving Oakland students with 1,000 outdoor immersive experiences, since Oakland Goes Outdoors (OGO) was launched in 2018.
We’re bringing together educators, partners, supporters and community members for a casual, high-energy night filled with connection, storytelling, and a little friendly competition.
Test your knowledge with nature and outdoors trivia, hear highlights from our educators and students, and be part of a community that believes every young person deserves access to the outdoors.

September Paddle for a Cause

Join us for a special community paddle in support of Oakland Goes Outdoors (OGO), a program dedicated to helping Oakland public school students access paddlesports and other immersive nature-based learning experiences throughout the Bay Area.
Enjoy a guided 2-hour kayak paddle in beautiful Ballena Bay in Alameda, followed by a light sandwich lunch (included) and an inspiring overview of OGO’s mission and impact.
100% of proceeds will go directly to OGO’s youth programs.
